Before we were Alpkit we lived off the sale rails in the outdoor shops, looking out for imperfect kit that needed a home and that we knew would still keep us warm.

These Akitas are far from perfect, but they’re the kind of thing we’d have looked out for back in the day. So we’re giving them the opportunity keep you warm in the mountains, which we’re sure is what all fleece jackets dream of.

These fleeces use the same stretchy, wind resistant fabric as our regular Akitas. They’re completely fit for purpose but the stitching is broken in places so they didn’t meet our rigorous standards of quality control.

These fleeces are still covered by our 123 day returns policy, but are exempt from our Alpine Bond warranty.
